Henry L. Self III

Henry Self is an entertainment, media and intellectual property attorney with more than two decades of diverse experience representing musicians, actors, writers, directors, producers and other talent in a variety of transactional and litigation matters. His practice areas include contracts, rights of privacy and publicity, defamation, copyright and trademark law, among others.

He has authored several publications in his fields of expertise and taken part in precedent-setting published cases in both state and federal courts. He has also acted as a music supervisor and associate producer for numerous short and feature length motion pictures.

Mr. Self holds a juris doctor from the University of California Los Angeles, where he served as Articles Editor of the Entertainment Law Review. Prior to law school, he studied advertising and marketing at the University of Missouri School of Journalism.
